Program Highlights
We are very proud of our Surgical Residency Program which received full accreditation for four years in 2007 with commendation from the ACGME. Our written board pass rate is 100% since 1999 which means that for 12 years, both of our graduating residents have passed the ABS written exam on their first attempt. Our oral board scores passing rate is 80%.
We graduate two chief residents per year. Our residents have been very successful with obtaining fellowships in academic programs across the country.

Those residents who have chosen to enter private practice following graduation have been able to obtain positions either in academic or community based centers throughout the country.
