General Surgery Residency Program
Easton Hospital prides itself in having had a Surgical Residency Training program since 1950 when residents rotated from Philadelphia and New York hospitals to our community hospital. The first resident to complete training in the Easton Hospital Surgical Residency program was accepted in 1966 and graduated from our program in 1970. Since 1966, we have had an uninterrupted Surgical Training Program at this hospital and have graduated many competent surgeons who have settled in various aspects of academic and non-academic surgical careers and have achieved success in life. Easton Hospital is affiliated with Drexel University School of Medicine. We are in close proximity to the Pocono Mountains, the New Jersey shore, New York City and Philadelphia.
Easton Hospital is a for-profit hospital owned by Community Health Systems. Our parent company is based in Franklin, Tennessee and owns 100+ hospitals in 29 states.
