Application Criteria/General Requirements

- We accept 8 PGY-1 residents each year. The general requirements for application to the Internal Medicine Residency program are:

1) Applications are accepted through ERAS only
2) USMLE score must be 220 or above with a first time pass on each test.
3) Foreign medical graduate applications are reviewed; however, all foreign medical graduates must be ECFMG certified prior to the NRMP rank order list deadline. (USMLE Steps 1, 2 and CS must be taken and submitted with the application. USMLE Step 3 completion is advantageous.)
4) Three letters of recommendation are required.
5) US clinical experience is suggested.
6) Graduation must be within 5 years of your application to us.
7) We currently do not sponsor Visa’s (neither H-1b or J-1)

- Interviews:
- All applications will be evaluated trough a formal review process approved by our Graduate Medical Education Committee. Approximately 50-80 candidates will be invited for interviews between September and November. Please do not call to check on your interview status unless you wish to report a change in e-mail address or phone number that we use to reach you.
