A High-Quality Medical Residency Program

A High-Quality Medical Residency Program

Thank you for your interest in the Internal Medical Residency Program at Easton Hospital.

Easton Hospital has offered a high-quality Medical Residency Program since the early 1970’s with a strong emphasis on medical education for residents, medical students, and attending teaching staff. We are fully accredited by the ACGME with a current three-year accreditation cycle. Easton Hospital maintains an affiliation with Drexel University School of Medicine whereby both Medical Students rotate to Easton and Medical Residents have the opportunity to rotate to Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia for elective rotations.

In 2001, Easton Hospital became a for-profit hospital owned by Community Health Systems, one of the largest U.S. healthcare systems consisting of 100+ hospitals in 29 states based in Brentwood, Tennessee. Community Health Systems has expanded our physical facility along with a combination of professional, educational and technological enhancements providing a well-rounded education to our residents. We take great pride in delivering state-of-the-art treatment and the highest possible levels of service to patients and their families in a welcoming, community-based setting.

We are very proud of our 94% Board Pass rate for the past seven years. Our graduates have been very successful with the American Board of Internal Medicine examination. Recent graduates have been accepted into fellowship programs in Infectious Disease, Geriatrics, Nephrology, Pulmonary/Critical Care and Rheumatology. Others have found Inpatient Hospitalist positions or Outpatient/Office Practice careers in multiple areas of the United States.

Proudly serving the greater Easton community.
