This is a very nice program. Attendings are very friendly and supportive. You will learn a lot from the attendings - one to one. Absolutely zero scut work. You will get enough time to balance between patient care and academics and self driven learning. If you are committed and focused, you have opportunities to do research and publish."

“The years in the program have been essential to my development as a physician. It is a small hospital with a big heart and a lot of opportunities to learn.”

“The main reason that I joined this program is because it is a good, small community hospital teaching program, affiliated with Drexel University. I have been learning a lot in this setting, which I am sure will help me in the practice of medicine. Recent changes in the program have been very promising including more ICU teaching with intense teaching by faculty members. The 100% board passing ratio for the last few years is another assuring factor. Our patient load, as well as other duties, is well balanced and manageable throughout the length of 3 years. A good surrounding area and safe neighborhoods are some other positive factors that helped me in my initial decision. Finally, I must mention that all the faculty members as well as other physicians are very keen on teaching.”

“When I arrived for my residency training, I initially thought it would be very difficult to adjust to new surroundings. However, the senior residents were so helpful, that it made my journey very easy. Our attendings are amazing. No matter what time of the day or night, they are ready to help and teach without any hesitation. Lots of learning with good help from the surgical residents, as well as the surgical attendings. Absolutely no scut work at all. Positive aspects of our program include (but are not limited to) nice, respectful working environment; ample study/test preparation time; and the call schedule allows you to spend a lot of time with your family and friends. We had many cases accepted for local and national meetings, and we are very well encouraged by the program director and teaching attending staff regarding our presentations. Chief residents were always ready to help as much as they can. I would strongly recommend you to join this program.”

“I have a strong personal commitment to Easton Hospital despite working here a little more than one year. I feel a sense of family since I am here. I am very fortunate to work with a very dedicated team of residents and attendings. Our senior residents are always ready to help with advice and share their gained experience. Our attendings are very understandable to our needs and committed to daily teaching. I will consider many of the residents and attendings as my life friends and I know I can count on them at anytime.”

“I am originally from China and worked for several years in Boston. I joined this program with a long history of biomedical research. Easton Hospital Internal Medicine Residency program is the best for me. Here, I can learn everything to become an independent physician, and I will be well prepared for a possible fellowship. I am proud to be a member of this team.”
