PGY-1 / Allopathic Medicine

General ward medicine – 28 weeks

Office-based teaching – 4 weeks

Ambulatory – 4 weeks

Night float – 6 weeks

Intensive care unit – 8 weeks

Cardiology or pulmonary – 4 weeks

(2 weeks assigned vacation)

PGY-2 / Allopathic Medicine

General ward medicine – 12 weeks

Intensive care unit – 8 weeks

Emergency care unit – 4 weeks

Night float – 6 weeks

Office-based teaching – 4 weeks

Ambulatory – 4 weeks

Required/elective subspecialty – 12 weeks: 4 weeks out of the 12 can be used at Drexel School of Medicine – 4 weeks (optional for required and elective rotations)

(3 weeks vaction: 2 weeks assigned and 1 week given based on request)

Required/elective subspecialties – 26 weeks: 4 weeks out of the 10 can be used at Drexel School of Medicine – 4 weeks (optional for required and elective rotations)
