Easton Hospital to Offer Free Breast Cancer Screening
Easton, PA (May 1, 2012): Easton Hospital is offering a Free Breast Cancer Screening for women in the Easton area and surrounding community. The screening will be held on Wednesday, May 16 from 5:30 p.m. — 7:00 p.m. at Community Cares Center @ 22nd Street, 205 South 22nd Street in Easton (across the street from the hospital parking garage).
One out of every eight women will develop breast cancer, but statistics show more women survive the diagnosis when it is detected and treated early. The American Cancer Society recommends that any women 40 or older receive a clinical breast exam by a health expert every year.
