Oh My Aching Feet: A Look at the Perils of High Heels
Easton, Pa (May 1, 2012) On May 31, Healthy Woman will host “Oh My Aching Feet: A Look at the Perils of High Heels” featuring Joseph Saka, MD, Podiatrist. Free foot screenings will be offered at the event. This free presentation will be held at 6:00 p.m. in Kroner Auditorium at Easton Hospital, 250 South 21st Street, Easton.
Dr. Saka’s presentation will offer insight into the damage wearing high heels can have on women’s feet and posture. In addition, he will provide information on shoe gear available today that can alleviate foot pain caused by inappropriately fitting shoes and heels.
Dr. Saka earned his medical degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his Residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Hoboken University Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Saka is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medical Association. He sees patients at his offices in Easton, Northampton and Allentown.
