Sleeve Gastrectomy Support Group

Easton, Pa (May 2, 2012) On Wednesday, May 9, Easton Hospital will host its Sleeve Gastrectomy Support Group. The support group will be 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the ACB Education Room at Easton Hospital, 250 South 21st Street, Easton, Pa.

Artun Aksade, MD, a fellowship-trained Bariatric Surgeon and Amanda Nyce, Bariatric Coordinator will present on educational and informational bariatric topics. Attendees also interact with post op patients for a question and answer portion of the support group.

Dr. Aksade is board-certified in Surgery and is fellowship-trained in minimally invasive and Bariatric Surgery. He earned his medical degree from Hacettepe University and completed a Residency in Othopaedic Surgery at Dokuz Eylul University Hospital, Izmir, Turkey, and a Residency in General Surgery at Easton Hospital.
