Easton Hospital to Open Health and Wellness Center at Park Plaza
Easton, Pa (May 16, 2012): The Easton Hospital Health and Wellness Center will be a new healthcare facility at the renovated Park Plaza,1800 Sullivan Trail, in Forks Township. Opening summer 2012, the Center will be a healthcare venue for the entire family offering physician offices, imaging services, laboratory services and walk-in care (no appointment necessary) during certain hours. The Easton Hospital Health and Wellness Center is a more than 16,000 square foot facility that will occupy the northwest corner of Park Plaza.
“We are excited to be part of this new endeavor in Forks Township,” states Brian Finestein, CEO of Easton Hospital. “The Hospital is committed to meeting the healthcare needs of the residents of Forks Township by bringing quality health care to their neighborhood. This new facility provides easy access to care for the community and will be open expanded times to work within their busy schedules.”
The Center will include:
- Easton Imaging at Park Plaza - including Digital Mammography
- Easton Laboratory at Park Plaza
- The Physicians at Park Plaza - primary care physicians and obstetricians/gynecologists
- Walk-in Care at Park Plaza (weekdays; 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Saturdays; 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.) - No appointment necessary
Finestein adds, “In addition, we are continuing our commitment to provide healthcare education and free health screenings to the community, as well as participation and support of numerous Forks Township community events.
The Easton Hospital Health and Wellness Center will be open for physician, imaging and lab appointments, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. In addition, Walk-In Care (no appointments necessary) will be available Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. On Saturdays, the lab will be open from 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.; imaging will be open from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.; and Walk-in Care will be open from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
