INTERIM CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER NAMED AT EASTON HOSPITAL

EASTON, PA. (April 13, 2009) – Easton Hospital announced today that Aaron Hazzard has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer.

Hazzard is a seasoned healthcare professional with more than 30 years of experience gained in health system, hospital and surgery center settings.  He joins Easton Hospital after serving for nearly three years as Chief Operating Officer of Clarian Arnett Health Systems in Lafayette, IN.

Prior to that, Hazzard served as Chief Operating Officer of Jewish Hospital in Lousiville, KY.  He has also served as Chief Executive Officer of North Clark Community Hospital of Charlestown, IN, and held the same position with Loudon County Memorial Hospital in Loudon, TN.

 Hazzard began his healthcare career as Associate Administrator of Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL.

A search for a permanent chief executive is underway.  The Easton Hospital Board of Trustees and medical staff leadership will be involved in the selection process.
