Having a baby is one of the most exciting and rewarding times in a woman's life, and Easton Hospital is dedicated to providing expectant mothers and newborns with the quality care during this special time. Our maternity services are provided by obstetricians, neonatologists, labor and delivery specialists, nurses and other caring professionals in a welcoming, comfortable environment.
You'll find the full spectrum of care from prenatal to post-partum care, including high-risk pregnancy care and labor and delivery services. Our comprehensive care extends beyond delivery, with a full range of educational resources for new parents.
Easton Hospital's care begins in the earliest stages of pregnancy with prenatal checkups and services tailored to your specific needs. You'll learn about proper nutrition and work with your obstetrician to stay healthy and get properly prepared.
The medical staff is available to manage pregnancy-related conditions such as gestational diabetes or preeclampsia, as well as provide specialized care for those with existing medical conditions.
The delivery rooms provide everything doctors, nurses and other maternal specialists need to provide you with quality care. Experienced labor and delivery staff use medical technology to manage C-section (cesarean) births and other surgical procedures.
Caring maternity nursing staff members are available to provide breastfeeding assistance and education, and classes for new mothers are available.
Easton Hospital offers classes to prepare mothers and families before and after the birth of a child.
Easton Hospital is excited for you as you await the birth of your baby! Taught by certified educators, our interactive classes prepare you for childbirth and breastfeeding.
For the childbirth classes, we suggest that couples attend the part one in their 3rd - 5th months of pregnancy, and part two after their 7th month. Or, they can attend all 3 classes in consecutive weeks, after their 7th month of pregnancy.
